When you book an appointment with ME, that time is considered yours. If no other time is available, I turn away clients who are also in need of treatment. Therefore not showing up and /or not calling ahead of time to re-open this time slot is not acceptable. This is not fair to other clients, or to the ME, whose time was not respected.

You must inform your therapist if you have taken any over-the-counter or prescription pain medications or muscle relaxants within the past 12 hours.  Certain medications make it difficult for you to give feedback as to the depth (or pressure) of massage. It is imperative that your therapist know all the medications you take and the reasons for taking them.  With this knowledge, the therapist can make a judgment as to the type of work you can safely receive.  If you are currently under treatment with narcotic pain medication and/or muscle relaxants, it may not be appropriate for a therapist to work on you at this time.

Any client apparently under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to reschedule their appointment.  Please note that this may result in accrual of a $20 rescheduling fee.

1 hour treatments are a full 60 minutes.  Treatment time starts from the moment I lay my hands on your body.  If you are late that time may run into my next client’s session, so please be punctual.

If you arrive late for your appointment and would still like to receive your massage at that time, the length for your session may be shortened based on the time you arrived, and full payment will still be due.  You will be advised if this is going to occur and will be given the option to reschedule your appointment.  Please note that this latter option may result in accrual of a $20 rescheduling fee.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you many be required to reschedule and may accrue a $20 rescheduling fee.  This will be at the sole discretion of the massage therapist, ME.

All first time appointments are expected to be 10-15 minutes longer due to first time client paperwork.

Please allow yourself enough time to arrive, have your session, to shower and relax before leaving.

As much as possible, please avoid scheduling sessions during your lunch hour.  This will ensure no rushing through your session and time to really unwind and relax.

A 24 hour notice would be appreciated if you need to cancel an appointment.  However, I do understand that situations and emergencies arise that may make it difficult for you to give adequate notice of your cancellation.

If you are a client with a previous “No Show” history you will be required to pre-pay for all future visits.

Should you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding any of these policies, please do not hesitate to call or email ME.
